Lead Times

Lead times

We don't run a blanket lead-time policy. Every build is quoted with a specific lead time before you commit, and we try to hit the date you actually need - whether that's one week or five.

Stocked parts (distributor lines)

Next-day UK dispatch on in-stock orders. Most stocked parts from ARE, Cartek, Fuel Safe, Tilton, Hunsaker, EvoCorse, FEV, SFS, SuperB and VP Racing ship the next working day after order. If something on your order is short on stock, we email you within 24 hours so you know.

Flight cases and bespoke builds

Lead time is quoted per project. We don't publish a generic timeframe because the reality varies with size, complexity, workshop schedule, and how soon you need it. Tell us your required date in the enquiry and we'll come back with a firm answer - if we can't hit it, we'll be straight with you about that too.

Workshop services (CNC, laser, milling, 3D)

Quoted with a specific lead time, usually within one working day of receiving your files. Small jobs typically turn around quickly; larger production runs take longer. Always confirmed before work begins.

If your timeline is tight

Tell us up front. We regularly reshuffle the workshop schedule for time-critical builds, especially around season starts. Email alex@vmep-ltd.co.uk with your deadline and we'll tell you what's achievable.
