Your statutory rights
VMEP Ltd is a UK retailer. Your rights as a consumer are protected by UK law - principally the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. The terms below explain how your statutory rights apply to orders placed with us. Nothing on this page restricts those rights.
Cancelling an order (distance selling)
If you order online and are buying as a consumer, you have a 14-day right to cancel from the day you receive the goods (or the last item of a multi-item order). To cancel, email us at info@vmep-ltd.co.uk with your order number before the 14-day period ends.
You then have a further 14 days to return the goods. Goods must be unused and in their original condition where possible. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the goods are defective or mis-described.
Bespoke and custom-made goods
The 14-day right to cancel does not apply to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised, as set out in regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. This includes custom flight cases, bespoke pit equipment, and any items built or modified to a brief.
For bespoke work we will provide a written quote with specific terms before production begins. Deposit and cancellation terms are stated in that quote.
Faulty or mis-described goods
If goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you have statutory remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including a short-term right to reject within 30 days of delivery, and rights to repair, replacement, or refund. Email info@vmep-ltd.co.uk with your order number and a description of the issue.
How to return an item
Contact us first at info@vmep-ltd.co.uk. We will confirm the return address and any documentation required. Please do not send items back without contacting us, as this can delay processing.
Refunds
Where a refund is due, we will process it to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods (or, for cancelled orders, within 14 days of receipt of the goods or evidence that they have been sent back, whichever is sooner).

This policy is in addition to, and does not limit, your statutory rights as a consumer in the UK.
