What we build

Bespoke flight cases, pit perches, pit walling, hospitality units, foam inserts and one-off motorsport components. If it has to be moved, protected or set up quickly at a circuit, we've probably built something close to it.

Two examples for scale: the VME-Box47 engine transport case is 800 x 800 x 950mm inside, and the VME-Box46 gearbox carry case is 504 x 504 x 404mm. Most of what we make sits between those two, and either end is normal work.

What to send us

  • What's going in the case, with make, model and weight
  • Internal usable dimensions, and any external size limits
  • How and where it's used, and how it travels
  • Lid type, drawers, shelves, foam inserts, dividers, tie-down points
  • Materials, finish and hardware
  • Any branding, plates or marked labelling
  • Delivery address and the date you actually need it in hand

STEP, IGES, DXF, DWG, STL or PDF all work, and photos with a tape measure in shot plus a rough sketch are often enough on their own. Upload files here. Send that and we can usually scope, price and give you a firm build window inside one working day.

Common questions
01 Why is the build window 3 to 14 days?

Because the case is made here. 3D CAD, CNC routing, fibre laser marking, CNC milling and turning, 3D printing, frame fabrication, assembly and packing all happen at Unit 20, Bidavon Industrial Estate, Bidford-on-Avon, so there's no subcontractor queue to join. The exception is anything we don't make ourselves: bought-in hardware, screens, fridges, castors and finishing work like embroidered covers depend on supplier availability, and that's stated on your quote before you commit.

02 When does the clock start?

At signed-off specification, not at your first enquiry. The days between a first email and an agreed spec are scoping days, not build days, and how long they take depends mostly on how quickly the details come back to us. Full detail on the lead times page.

03 Can you brand the case?

Yes. Logo plates and control labelling are marked in-house on our fibre laser, so branding doesn't mean sending the case out to a third party and waiting. Tell us what you want marked when you send the spec. More on the laser etching page.

04 I need it for a specific race weekend. What then?

Tell us the date in your first email, not at quote stage. Race calendars don't move. If the date is achievable we confirm it in writing with the quote; if it isn't, you're told straight away so you can make another plan while there's still time. Your real deadline is usually earlier than the event, because the case has to be with you in time to be loaded.
